From Memory to Artwork in Four Simple Steps
You don't need to be a writer. Just tell us what you remember — we'll help with the rest.
1. Download
Download your free Memory Record. Print the pages and write by hand, or complete them on your computer.
2. Remember
Follow the gentle prompts and tell us about one countryside memory that means something to you.
3. Return
Send your completed Memory Record back to us, together with any photographs or references you'd like us to see.
4. We Create
We'll use your words and references to recreate your memory as a unique piece of countryside artwork.
A Memory Record can be for anyone
You don't have to fill it in for yourself.
Perhaps your dad still talks about his first tractor. Your mum remembers helping at harvest. Your grandparents have stories about a farm, village or countryside childhood that you've heard a hundred times.
Or perhaps it's your memory that deserves preserving.
The Memory Record can be printed and given to a parent, grandparent, relative, friend or neighbour — or simply completed by you.
Sometimes the stories we've heard all our lives are the ones we most need to make sure aren't lost.
What happens when you send it back?
When your completed Memory Record reaches us, we'll carefully read your story and look through any photographs or references you've chosen to include.
We then use a combination of AI-assisted image creation, digital editing and careful human direction to recreate the scene you've described as faithfully as we can.
We'll send you a watermarked preview of your recreated memory artwork completely free of charge.
If we've misunderstood an important detail, tell us — your memory is what we're trying to get right.
There is no obligation to buy anything but if you love what we've created and would like to keep it, you'll have the option to purchase the finished digital artwork or have your memory made into one of our available products.
Your memory remains your story. We will never share it publicly without asking your permission first.

Your Memory Record may contain names, photographs and personal family stories. We understand that these can be precious.
We will never publish or share your memory, photographs or recreated artwork without asking your permission first.
You decide whether your name is shown, whether your story can become part of The Countryside Memory Project, and whether we may contact you about it.
Returning a Memory Record does not commit you to buying anything. The recreation and your watermarked preview are free.
